Turning Service
Turning Service at Dipak Sales is focused on producing rotational metal components from customer drawings and specifications. The process is suited to parts where diameters, lengths, shoulders, grooves, chamfers and other turned features need to be produced consistently.
Dipak Sales manufactures precision metal components using materials including ETP copper, aluminium, phosphor bronze, lead-free brass alloys, low-lead brass alloys and copper alloys. Our technical team supports both complex and mass-production requirements.
Turning for Rotational Components
Turning works by rotating the workpiece while a cutting tool removes material to establish the required profile. This makes it a practical choice for cylindrical and rotational parts where the geometry is primarily defined around an axis.
Features We Can Address
- External diameters and stepped diameters
- Defined component lengths and shoulders
- Grooves and chamfers shown on drawings
- Rotational profiles and cylindrical sections
- Features prepared for subsequent drilling, tapping or finishing
Material Selection
Our documented material expertise includes ETP copper, aluminium, phosphor bronze, lead-free brass alloys, low-lead brass alloys and copper alloys. The selected material and component specification determine the appropriate machining approach.
Dimensional Control
For component verification, Dipak Sales has access to digital micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, dial gauges, bore gauges and thread measuring equipment. These instruments support checks of critical dimensions and specified features.
Production Requirements
Turning can be used for individual component requirements as well as repeat manufacturing where consistency between production batches matters. Where a drawing calls for additional operations, the turned part can move into drilling, milling, tapping, finishing or assembly as required.
For OEM and Industrial Components
Our precision metal component manufacturing activity supports requirements across automotive, electrical and electronics, fastening and fixtures, telecommunications, agriculture, hydraulic, medical technology, energy and data center applications.
