Controlled Hole Machining

A drilled hole may look simple, but its dimensions and position can directly affect assembly. For drawing-based production, the drilling operation therefore needs to follow the specified diameter, depth and location rather than treating every hole as a generic feature.

Part and Material Considerations

Dipak Sales works with ETP copper, aluminium, phosphor bronze, lead-free brass alloys, low-lead brass alloys and copper alloys. The material, geometry and drawing requirements are considered when planning the machining operation.

Checking Critical Dimensions

Our listed inspection equipment includes depth gauges, digital micrometers, vernier calipers, dial gauges, bore gauges and related measuring instruments. Thread plug gauges and thread ring gauges are also available for applicable threaded features.

Part of a Multi-Operation Route

Drilling does not have to be an isolated operation. Depending on the component, it can follow turning or be combined with milling and tapping before the part moves to finishing or assembly. This is useful for customers who need a component manufactured through several defined operations.
